Good morning from Adelaide

The sun is about to rise 
Peace and calm surrounds me
As I open up my tired eyes
The morning star is shining 
Pink clouds upon the horizon
Birds serenade my quiet steps 
As I walk outside to greet 
A blessed new day: meeting me
Today would have been Nana's
Special day: born in 1917
Today we celebrate again 
Two loved ones joined together 
In blessed matrimony...

Hear my voice

Would you listen?
Could you hear my voice?

Would you understand?
Could you make that choice?

All I have done for you
All I have given in good faith

Jesus came to save us all
Jesus came for the human race

Have you heard His words?
Have you known His grace?

Do you see His tears?
Streaming down His face

Those tears He cries
He cries for you and me

Yes He gave His life
Yes He gave for all humanity

He took up our cross
That we should not suffer loss


That we should be redeemed
That we should be set free

Can't run away

Can't run away from problems

Can't hide: I've tried

They seem to follow ever after

Swallow up the tide

No matter the situation

No matter the circumstance

They resurface all the darker

Growing stronger as they invade

Overpowering all opposition

Overcoming all the obstacles

We: before them: place

Problems need to be dealt with 

Else they become as mountains

Rather than the molehills

Too high to step over in our stride

Dance to the Rhythm of life

Do you dance to the rhythm of your life?
Can you relax, enjoy: even amid the strife?
Does your destiny enhance your perception
Of this seemingly happy life's deception?
Have you found your life's true direction?
And do you have God's blessed protection?
Are you stable or sincerely unable: to walk
Out in nature...do you grumble as you talk
About all those little things that get you down 
Do you find dark clouds beneath your frown?
Can you smile a little while through life's trials?
Do you ever see the silver lining brought with smiles?
Does sadness fill your days with doubt and fear?
Are you always struggling along in low gear?
What chance do you have to survive this life?
If you cannot let go of all the madness...

Get out in nature: take time to smell the roses
Allow goodness to come: take in all it exposes
Put down the heavy burdens that you are bearing
Say something nice to another within their hearing
Give away your smiles to all who have lost theirs
Show them that simple things are here to share
It costs nothing to bring a little joy and laughter
Hold onto those warm feelings that linger after
Take hold of the many blessings: share them round
For in simplicity and faith will your peace abound
