Waiting, anticipating, eagerly
Looking forward; endlessly
No use in looking back
No use in feeling sad
Just being thankful
For the life I've had
Don't know how much longer
Any of us will get
So I am looking forward
Enjoying what I have
Each and every morning 
I get to appreciate
The new day's dawning 
The blessed peace I know
That comes in knowing Jesus
He has already paid my price
Thus am I thankful
Thus am I so blessed
In anticipating 
His soon coming
