Walked amid the sand dunes
Between the river and the sea
Though not really sandy
They are beautiful to me
Covered by plants; vines; grasses
There is a peace; serenity
As fresh sea breezes blow
Here once lived the Ngarrindjeri
As I walk amid the sand dunes
I feel them; standing still; free
Old souls; men; women; children
I say 'bulla'; wave; they welcome me
