She fainted in the church yard
Nobody even looked around
Dear Lord you know that
Those church goers were so blind!
As she had her fits and spasms
Lying right there upon the ground
The rain began to fall upon her and
Still nobody came to see if she was fine!
Nobody thought to aid her
Nobody seemed to even care
She was no alcoholic: no crazed abuser
She was no drug user: she was ill and alone
After all the leukaemia treatments
She was as weak as a little kitten
You'd have thought she'd bitten
Off much more than she could chew!
Right there upon the ground
In that Christian church yard where
So many came from that blessed church
No comforter was there to aid her
No one would think to help her
What happened to all these Christian people?
Supposed carers of all mankind!
I am so ashamed to say that they
No not one: even gave her the time of day!
Shame on you church goers: evil doers!
Where was your Christian love?
Where was the love that Jesus gave us?
That love He brought: straight form heaven up above!
