Australia has the Red Centre
Supposedly our inner heart
But on the weather channel
There was no Red Centre
The whole of our country
Was red, hot: no distinction
All over Australia: the heat
Emanated: dissipated: escalated!
It was hot, hot, hot: cool it was not!
Not one spot of difference
Not one place, was considered cool
It was a whole red hot nation
Yes it was in no wise...considered cool!
