Man is lost in transit

Mankind has missed the boat 

Struggles to command it 

This life that lets hope float 

Where is man's salvation?

Where his buoyancy vest? 

Does he even care to wonder? 

As he continues in life's test? 

Does he choose to ponder?

Does he seek to truly find?

The way of truth beyond this...

Difficult mountain he has to climb

Sliding backwards downward ho

Where is it that he seeks to go?

Darkness settles around his head

Chooses to ignore the warnings 

Chooses not life but fiery death 

Ah dear Lord man is lost in sin

Cannot find the path: he searches

Outside not within: Lord help him

Angels please come nigh

Help man see the light that's held on high

Jesus is the lighthouse: shining bright

Ever waiting for mankind to come nearer

Ever waiting for them to accept his guidance
Salvation beckons but man is blind
