I dreamt of you the other night
It was a silly dream: that's right
The two of us were going up
To Sedan to collect our things
All the furniture we'd yet to get
In this crazy dream she was upset
Wouldn't let us get inside
Wouldn't let us collect it all
She left us there and went away
But you had thought it out
You'd touched the lock before she left
The door just opened to your softest touch
Thus we were able to complete
The task that we'd been set
Until many others came
Then we had to run away
She was upset about the damage
To the house: underneath
Caused by the flood
Said it was dangerous...
Said it wasn't fair...
Ah the silly things we dream of
Those silly things that concern us
In our waking moments
These sill things that return to us
Cime to play upon our minds
As we try to get some precious sleep!
