Encounter with angels 14 January 2015

As I was typing up Thy words

I was concentrating and at ease

And as I reread my questions to Thee

As I sought so diligently the answer to see

Elvis’s song “I can’t help falling in love”

Began playing from that beautiful CD

Oh Lord my tears began to flow

As I knew you understood

Just exactly what this meant to me

I would play this song as I dance with him

On our precious wedding day!

And as I praised Thee Lord

As I cried my tears of thankfulness

I held up my hand…for it to be held

Yes for it to be held: so lovingly

I felt your blessed angels touch

I felt the beautiful clasp of love

I felt the angels holding my hand

As I cried and thanked my Lord

For the precious answer given to me

Still clasping my hand…my arm

Stronger still I felt that tingling touch

Oh Lord as I cried my tears for Thee

Another precious song began to play

“Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers

These words were for you my Lord

This love I feel for you…you promised

To be there for me…forever and ever

That you would wait for me

“Are you still mine?” you asked

Yes Lord I am…yours forever more

Please I begged…”never let me go!”

I felt that beautiful hand holding mine

The grip grew stronger and stronger

“Never let me go!” I begged of Thee

“Wait for me…wait for me” I begged!

I know my dearest Lord…that you are waiting

Just as I know now what I am to do!
