My precious grand-daughter loves to climb
On everything...copying her big brothers
Doing everything they do...she is a climber
Just like her mother, Nana and great grandmother
Why should she be any different to me and you?
I climbed trees when very young...
It was great fun, adventurous, why not "have a ball"?
The trouble is that sometimes, pride goes before a fall
I fell over constantly: believe you me...
I would fall, get up and do it again and again
Isn't that what you do as a kid...
That's how you learn...
Fall over, getup, dust off your knees
And keep going...
I remember going to the chiropractor
Many times over the years...
I remember falling over all the time
That hasn't really changed much...
I still do it occasionally...
I've been watching my grandson Zac, aged 4
He is always falling over...just like I used to do
He is so very much like me...
Falls over, gets up...says "I'm okay"
Keeps on going...
Evaleah is so much like me
Temperamentally too...
A little spitfire so full of determination
So full of life...
She climbs up onto everything
Drags a chair around...
To get to whatever it is she sees...
She took a tumble about 10 days ago
Had me worried I must say
Saw her take that heavy landing
Nothing I could do to save her
Then she fell again a week ago
Oh my poor little baby...
I watched helplessly as she went down
She was crying for a little while
But I watched as she became...
Restless, cranky in the extreme...
Couldn't settle her at night...
Always, she put up such a fight...
Took her to the chiropractor
Yesterday...Thank God...
She had a problem with her little neck
Caused her so much pain I bet
But how can babies tell you?
How do they manage to say?
"Hey mummy, I am hurting...
Please help me today..."
She is so much happier...
No more screaming all the time
The peaceful little girl is back again
The beautiful little creature that she is...
Displaying her loving nature once again
I know how much pain comes from a fall
I truly know it...after all I always fall...
So please if you see a change...
If you notice a huge difference in their demeanor...
Take them to the doctor...chiropractor...
Please have them checked out...
Before too long...and notice the difference...
