 Remember the Sabbath day 

To keep it Holy

Exodus 20:8

Why is it so important?

What does it mean to us?

God gave it to us as a memorial

A Sabbath day to keep

In His honour

God blessed the 7th day 

God sanctified it...

Why?

God stopped creating...

God rested...

God created the universe

The waters...

The earth...

Man...

Everything...

Then he created the time of rest

God blessed it...it is sacred...

God sanctified it...it is Holy...

God rested...

God created the day 

To be set aside each week

For man to remember creation

To remember the creator

God made the 7th day

The day of the Lord...

God blessed it and hallowed it...

Created it for a purpose...

For man to stop doing...

Whatever he was doing...

To worship God

To commemorate it

For His sake

It is our duty and our privilege

To honour God on His Sabbath day

Isaiah 58: 12, 13, 14

The Sabbath day is not ours...

It is God's day...

He is the Lord of the Sabbath...

We observe the Sabbath day

To show that we understand Him

To show that we acknowledge Him

To show that we worship Him

The Creator...
