Do not be discouraged

Our Lord will never neglect our prayers
He loves us, for we are His people...
The danger is that we might...
Become discouraged in temptation...
Become discouraged in trial...
And fail to persevere in prayer...

There are many from whom he has departed
Bring back sunshine to them...
Many have lost their courage...
Speak words of cheer...
Pray for them...
We all need the bread of life...
Read to them...
From the word of God...
There is a soul sickness...
Which no earthly balm can reach...
No physician can heal...
Pray for these souls...
Bring them back to Jesus...
It is His love their heart seeks
