I found another tapestry of
That same Spanish Dancer
That I sent to my dear grandma
It brought back so many memories
Of how I sent my tapestry overseas
A gift for my dearest grandparents!
Now I have another one just the same
This one I'm keeping here with me
You see it reminds me of my family
So many miles away; in distant Hungary!
It reminds me of my grandparents
My cousins; those I have never met
My uncles, aunts and distant relatives!
Maybe one day I'll get to travel
To visit my home country!
Though I was born here in Australia
My blood comes from overseas
From the land of that mighty River
From the land of magnificent plains
Where the Danube flows!
That's where my heart goes
That's where my dreams flow
That's where I hope to go
When the time is right!
