Goosed

Uncle Waldo was a beauty
He was a real gander too
He loved his girls: Abigail and Amelia
Took care of them 
Helped to build their family
He even survived an attack
By a nasty fox one night
His goose was almost cooked
But he fought back!
He had that knack!
He attacked anything that moved!
Scared me a couple of times
Almost had me jumping
His wings flapping as he raged
Protecting his assets!
Saw a few bruises he dished out!
No wonder geese were used 
During the war years as Guard Geese
Kept everyone alerted
Wouldn't be diverted!
Let everybody know!
"There's some one sneaking in!"
