Sunrise

Got up at 6.30 am daylight savings time
The sun was still asleep but
Was woken by the buzzing alarm
I felt like I hadn't really slept
But an appointment in Adelaide
Made me rise from my nice warm bed
To the bathroom; then I sped
Ran my bath to wash my head
Got Tim up and into that bath
Clothes dryer drying my underwear
We ate our breakfast on the run
Half asleep we headed off
Just as the sun was rising
Above the horizon to the east
Beautiful pink/blue skies: golden red sunrise
Day was dawning as we drove along!
