Two faced

Work experience for my daughter 
Was a fun job many years ago
Helping out a photographer
Being girl Friday for the day
Holding up the light meter
Assisting in every way
But she found a problem when
He was talking to the girls
He would say how lovely they looked
How beautiful and happy they all were
But behind their backs
He said things about them
Things you wouldn't repeat
He was being honest to her but
How would you take it?
When someone says to your face
As the camera clicks away
That you're looking great
You've heard him say it to you
When you were on the other side
When it was your turn to be
The one being photographed
Do you then imagine that?
He was just being nice 
To your face as well!
What a terrible predicament
For my teenage girl
Assisting for that day 
At the Loxton Historical Village
All those years ago!
