Vanessa had to go to see the orthodontist
We had to straighten out her crowded teeth
The first was a man: I did like him: no not one bit!
I got the impression that all he cared about was money
I saw that gleam within his beady eyes: glistening
At the thought of making so much money
Out of another person's misery: yes indeed
To me: that was all that he could possibly see
He was keen on all sort of contraptions
Everything looked like pure pain and more so
Yes it looked like a torture chamber to me...
If I recall correctly: his name was Neo D...
The second orthodontist was a lady: much nicer company
She actually was eager to simplify matters
Was happy to accommodate us: placate us
No weird contraptions: no crazy ideas I could see
So Vanessa was not afraid: was much more happy
I am thankful for the intervention: it did wonders
Yes those teeth were pulled into line and settled
Yes those lovely teeth were corralled
It became quite an adventure: not a disaster
Like it originally looked to be...
June 1999...cost $573.00
