I want the world to see the joy you're bringing me
No matter what they see, it's what you think of me
I know you hear my prayers; your answers come to be
I feel it in my bones; I know it in my soul
How great Thy love is shown; your love to call my own!
It's like we understand each other's plans
The communication just expands!
I feel your loving touch; I love you oh so much!
I hear your calming voice; it leaves me with no choice!
I come when you do call; I want to give my all!
Lord you are my strength; as I am weak and small
And even though I slip and fall; you let me lean on you!
You lift me up when I am ill; you never let me down
You guide me and lead me down the paths you show to me
I only long to be so much nearer my Lord to thee!
The sun shines down upon my head
I still hear the words you've said
I only need your love; it showers me from above!
These many blessings are here for all to see
To share with all I meet; many blessings guide my feet
Along the golden path to you!

Archangel
Last Tuesday week; up into the sky I did peek
The most amazing sight caught my eye
The perfect torso arms and face
A masterpiece by God's design
Like Michelangelo's David there was placed!
I was looking up into the endless skies
Upon the largest masterpiece in kind
How awesome and so magnificent
To see such power there inscribed!
A portrait of one of God's Archangels to be sure
So massive, there was scored!
Facing directly to the North
Face uplifted and partly hidden by that chin
Yet nose and eyes and forehead there
Even slightly curling hair!
Lord what was I witnessing?
What beauty, what magnificence was placed
Within my vision there!
Who would believe me if I told?
Of that masterpiece of God!

Jesus is coming again
Weighed down by the whole world's woe?
Don't know which way to turn or go?
Too much worry and stress on your plate?
Why not turn to Jesus' words; not hate
Heaven knows that LOVE still rules!
Even though the clouds are dark; unclear
Raining down upon us in our fear
Worry does not reduce the stress
Of People stumped; surrounded by the press
Of bodies too close within your space
Despairing to even try to communicate
Trying to halt the endless meaningless
Life that goes on despite its loss
Everyone just steps back and tries to gloss
Over all the filth and endless dross
The flotsam and jetsam of this turbulence
People's lives pent up and then destroyed
No place safe where ever you look
Everywhere is danger; no chance took
Nothing to look forward to; no backward glance
Too tired to fight for that last chance
NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER! I DO SAY!
Ever onward into the fray!
Jesus waits beyond our space and time
He's the Leader; The One; Sublime!
God only knows when He will come
He and only He; Our Blessed Hope!
He will be seen by every eye
As He comes; fiery chariot; in the sky!
As the angels with Him come
To take us up into the heavens above
He and only He; fills our hearts with love!

Ode to Joy and Perfect Love
There is so much joy in my heart
I need to tell you but where do I start?
I feel like I want to explode
This loving feeling I need to unload.
After so much pain and dismal feeling
In prayer have I found myself kneeling!
The Lord has come into my heart
And made me soar unto the heights.
I must pass this on to all I meet
These glad tidings sweep me off my feet
Rejoice! For the Lord of hosts is with me
Oh yes and wants also to be with thee.
Open up your hearts, let His joy impart
Let it open up our eyes
Help to make us realize.
All is just as simple as it seems
Joy that leaps and bounds and teems
Has my heart o'er-flowing at the seams.
Let me spread this joyful word
'Tis stronger than the strongest sword
It comes from our Lord high above
Sent to us all; "To my dearest ones, with love!"
Jesus sends to us this healing
He asks us all to join in this feeling
Happy to pass on His love
Streaming down from His heavens above.
"Stay not trapped within your fears
Let my love free you from your tears
Let this joy be freely given!"
Surround us all in gossamer ribbon
Help it spread, multiply within thee.
Aim high, do not weep
Rise above these walls of woes that keep
Surrounding our minds and hearts and souls
Let us leap, rising higher than the highest peak
Send our thoughts and minds and prayers
Ever upward through the clouds and lighted layers
Spread the word, joyfully accept the call
And ever feel connected to our Lord!
Rejoice and sing so happily
Every voice united sounds so sweet
Like angels who on high do race
To save us from this toughest place
This life so empty, incomplete
Let them aid us with touch, songs so sweet
Listen to their voices sing
Hear their joyful music ring!
They are closer to His heart
To us minister on His behalf
To these empty places all o'er the land
They do bring the brightest band
Their music chimes so divine
Cannot ever be by man described
It touches souls like strings of harp
Plucks at our minds and hearts
Ripples joyfully in pools of love
Most joyous sounds you'll ever hear
No other voice could sound so dear
Dear Jesus, Light of all the world
Reaches into our very souls
He sees all that is deep inside
Every good or evil we cannot hide
Knows our heart and all it holds
Every little thought that's stored
He does know if we're truly sorry
He sends us thoughts so good and true
Forgives our sins and loves us too!
He does not on our troubles dwell
His voice rings tender as a loving bell!
But listen well unto its knell
The time is short, do not tarry
"Please, He begs; hearken, hurry
I will not wait forever more.
Come unto Me now! I do implore!
Please be ready, bring lamps and oil
Please dear children, let me save you!"
Only give your heart free willingly
Unbidden give you all and you will see
Let me be your strength
Without me will you fail?
Choose life, choose joy,
Choose what seems the harder way
Let love divine be thine today
Let gladness come and always stay
Don't waste your time in frivolity
Use your precious time wisely
Be called, heed the messengers
Don't be Time's reluctant passenger
Give love and receive in return
The promise of this life eternal.
"Hear me, please!" Our Lord does plead
Please live life simply and do pray
For time does fly fast forward past
All that's left will be as dust
"I love you all so much! You must
Listen, learn and keep faith strong
Please oh please, don't take too long!"
Time is passing oh so fast
Hurry along before this hour is past
Too late if you do breathe your last
Not making sure our pact holds fast
Take your chance don't waste it
Life eternal is before you, just taste it
Look inside you, hurry before all changes
Slips away and leaves you crazy
Without that final chance to make
The choices that could help you take
Those first weak steps before the Lord
He waits and cries and still he smiles
"Hurry dear lamb!" the shepherd calls
"Come hasten, live in my hallowed halls
Bow down to me and offer prayers
I want to see you climb Jacob's stairs!"
They reach the very heavens up above
"A place is waiting by my side
I open up these gates so wide
I am waiting for you to decide
Choose right; choose life, my dearest child
Then ever will you always be
By my side eternally
My little child, my little dove
My most precious joy of all above!"
Surrounded by His most perfect love
Our dear One, Jesus Christ
Made the greatest sacrifice.
Please turn and yes make haste
Do not His precious blood, tears and pain let waste!
Choose life and give your all
Accept this price as paid in full
When you do heed, accept His call
Joy-filled happiness in Heaven up above
Shall be your eternal reward!
