At the swimming pool tonight: clouds growing
Thunder & lightning was all round about: displaying
Clouds pink & strange to my sight: drops arrayed
Then they came down: cascading! The pool bubbled!
Felt like I was in a glass of lemonade: effervescing
Droplets bouncing upon the cool blue water: amazing!
I danced around in the cooling rain: so refreshing!
Headed for home: had to have my window down
Arm outstretched to catch the rain upon my palm
Those raindrops: like tiny needles: peppering my skin
It felt so amazing: I felt so alive! What a blessing!
