When I was 12 years old
I had a birthday party!
I got to invite all my friends from school
Before that we just had family parties
With cousins and close friends
My best friend was Martha of course
This time all the girls from school came
I remember; two of my cards were the same
We had a great time; running around
Playing party games; inside and outside
Playing chasey and having fun
On the 31st of March in 1969!
