Castles and moats; huge towers and clouds
Ever imagined the life of a princess?
Any young girl would dream of such a life
I know! I was one of them!
How come things never turn out like that?
How come dreams become nightmares?
Why isn't life like that?
Why does life have to be so difficult?
I guess it's because reality gets in the way!
Reality demands we take note:
Dreams are just that: dreams!
Real life is never the same!
Make believe: pretend: imagination!
Real life is what gets you down
Until you discover your other life
That which we lead
You know: on the inside!
My heart is alive inside of this body
This heart; that beats with a different beat
Because Jesus saved me!
Jesus has taken up my burdens
He has washed me clean
He has purchased this life of mine
With his precious blood
He has ransomed me from sin!
My real life is now thanks to His love!
How precious to finally know my Lord
My precious Lord; who loves me
No matter what I was before
No matter how far I fell
Now I am reborn; cleansed!
Thank you my dearest Lord
For giving me this new life!
