Two Shillings

Two shillings for lunch money
That's all there was to spare
So that's exactly how much I had
That's exactly what I needed
Exactly the cost of my favourite lunch
When the baker was there!
I bought a big pasty
(Though I did like the small ones best
They were half the size of the others but
That money just wouldn't stretch!)
We took a little tomato sauce to school
That made it taste the best!
I also bought a small bottle
Of lime flavoured lemonade and 
When I took the bottle back
There was just enough
For a lovely cinnamon bun
Covered in yummy icing!
That's what really made my day!
