Ask and you shall receive

"Ask and you shall receive"
What a wonderful promise
I ask and I do receive
Every day it is the same
I ask for many little things
I ask for some big things too
The little things are simple things
Like "Guide my every thought word and deed!"
"Be with me every moment of this day"
"Help me cope with whatever life has to give"
"Be with my family and keep them safe!"
The big things are about praying
For many people all over this world
For friends near and far
For people yet to come to my Lord
To spread His precious words
All over this huge warring world
So many things I pray for but
I am just a little voice
I am just a little heart and soul!
Though I would love to spread 
His word world-wide
I know I am here to make a difference
In my own little sphere of influence
This is where I make my ripples
In this little pond where my ripples spread!
