My two grandsons are so full of life
When they visit they get
Into so much strife
Climbing all over the furniture
Jumping up and down
Having so much fun as they
Move all around!
The toys come out of the toy box
Cookie Monster jumps
Down from the shelf
Everything is upside down
The movies go into the DVD player
Oh Lord I love them so much but
Sometimes it takes me quite a while
To put everything back where it belongs!
So I call them cyclone Santiago
And Hurricane Zack!
The trouble is: as soon as they leave
I want them to come back!
(The best way to get them to clean
Is to make them have a race
We pretend we are racing
We pretend we have to be quick
Or else the Cookie Monster
Will eat them for a cookie snack!)
