A beautiful soul

My precious son has just turned 18
He's had his ups and downs but
I really am so proud of his attitude
His kindness for a start
Comes from his precious heart
He is caring and understanding!
He's just a normal lad but 
I am really very glad that
He doesn't like smoking, drinking 
Or drug taking!
He might be a computer geek but
You know that's not so bad!
Though I do wish he'd go outside 
To get some more sunshine!
You know he's a good lad and 
I am so proud of him 'cause
His attitude's not grim
He doesn't like to sin
He's respectful and he's good
He really loves his food
He'd make a good cook too!
My son I do love you!
