Are you afraid of the dark?
Do you see monsters?
Where there aren't?
Why do some panic?
While others don't?
Do we sometimes think too much?
Do we see the ghosts
From our future/past?
I've never been afraid
Of the dark but
I do suppose
If someone tried to scare me?
Just for a lark
Who knows?
Maybe I would be afraid
Just one little bit!
When the moon grows dark!
When shadows creep and
Creatures howl
Cobwebs falling
Cheek by jowl
The haunting hoot
Of a huge night owl
Never really know
Till it happens to you
So don't think it's silly
Where someone else cries
Look out!
And scares you silly!
