We stopped beside the road
one day
Don’t think it was the month
of May
A cow was ready to birth her
calf
She was settling down on the
green grass
Relaxing in the shade;
Her time was here at last
We wanted to watch this
amazing sight
But as we sat there; she
looked askance
Got up and moved away from
us
As if to say: “Hey! I need some privacy here!
Do you mind? I need to unwind!
Don’t want anyone looking at my behind!
Moove along please: on your way!”
So I guess: even cows need
privacy; too!
How would you like it if?
Someone wanted to look at
you?
Giving birth out there on
the turf!
You’d turn around and moove
off too!
