Hot summer nights

These hot summer nights
Can't even turn on the lights
The bugs are going crazy!
So many little flying critters
They're giving me the jitters
Won't even leave me alone
When I'm sleeping!
Though the rain clouds
Brought a little respite
It hasn't even lasted the night
It's so hot; I'm really steaming!
The air outside is fresh and cool
I'm no fool;
Maybe that's where
I should be sleeping!
But it's safer here inside
With the air conditioner on
No mozzies here to whine but
These walls are hot and 
They're still radiating!
