Elder abuse

There's a new problem arising 
People taking things too far
Taking their parent's life; money 
Stealing their peace; families at war 
Thinking it as nothing; to demand
Their share; without a single care 
For their needs; for their welfare
The elderly; their supposed loved ones 
Being used; abused...
God help us; it's just not fair!
Elder abuse it is being called
On top of physical abuse
On top of mental; emotional abuse
It never seems to end
This eternal lifelong warfare...
