In dark of night I have to fight
Sleep eludes my troubled mind
I am wide awake; it's after 4 a.m.
Feeling lost and so alone am I
Though the angels are with me
These thoughts just will not let me be
So I toss and turn: clock watching
See the time passing slowly by
Still wide awake and wondering why?
I realise what troubles me my love
