When Elijah built his altar
With good strong stones
Placed that offering there
Covered all with water
The Lord sent fire from heaven
Burning everything in sight
The stones too were gone
Everything God accepted
To show His power and His might
The Lord He is God
The Lord He is God
They all cried that day
As the fiery message came down
From heaven to prove His case
