Counting the cost

Have you ever counted the cost?

Of a life lived without some reason?

Do you wander aimlessly day by day?

Trying to simply "find your way"

Does the wanderer simply succumb?

To: day-dreaming: to absence in default

How can we enjoy what we have?

If we are always looking for something

Better...

Can we dream of brighter days?

Can we move forward with our lives?

Without asking all those age-old questions...

What is my purpose in this life?

What should I do? Where should I go?

Is there something more that I should know?

Is there something deeper that I should seek?

Have I missed the proverbial boat?

And what exactly is it that I really need?

Many are called yet few are chosen...

Many are lost while their lives are frozen...

We all need something to look forward to

Some analysis to help us move along...

Some deeper meaning to these simple lives...

So: if we seek diligently?

If we open up our precious hearts and minds

Surely the moment will come when we

Can see the very purpose God has planted

Surely we will be able to progress further afield

If indeed we finally see: finally yield...

To that greater power...To God himself 

The author and finisher of our fate...

Please don't wait too long...

Seek and ye shall find...

Ask and it will be given...

Knock and it shall be opened...

Only...don't wait too long to answer Him

Simply allow His love to bring you in...
