I am walking along my given path
This never ending journey called life
I am carrying all my burdens: my load
Though long, winding: bends; narrows: strife
I am looking ahead to that blessed time
For I know that Jesus goes before me
He is leading me ever onward: ever upward: true
Though some days my steps falter...
I carry on regardless: on my upward way
Looking to Jesus: seeking His shining face
Knowing that emulating Him is the only way...
