Man is born of woman
He grows in grace anon
Yet it is only our Lord God

For He it was who gave up
His only begotten son; for love
Though we may go afar; wander
His love for us never diminishes
The plan of redemption was given for all
Woman gives birth to her children
She loves and nurtures them all
Though they leave the nest and wander
She loves the lost lambs most of all
Black sheep are treated no differently
As they wander far from home
The shepherd seeks the lost ones
Leaving the 99 at home; never cold
Together they lean on each other
Together they make their way
Through darkness into light; as brothers
