Taking the long way home
This path is steep; winding
I look at how gar I've come
Seeking God's light: blinding
Some days my darkness rules
Some days glow in peace; love
I know this suffering is a test
But this lesson must be learnt
Truly; God does know what's best
To seek His glory; we'll be burnt
Through fiery trials; His mercy shines
Down upon us from Calvary's cross
His children we are through all times
His love would not suffer our loss
