We crossed the tiny ford
Water trickling across
Beautiful sunny winter's day
Such a pleasure to emboss
Upon our memories
Like a watermark
Standing out in relief
Blessed nature to explore
We listened to the frogs singing
Watched three eagles winging
Above us...
High upon warm air currents
Soft sandy walking track
Rabbits and kangaroos
Going before us; looking back
