I wonder

I wonder about some people's minds
How some who profess wisdom
Say all the right things and yet
Actually have no idea about life
No idea about how to treat people
Have no humility of spirit
Are troubled by the world
Yet do nothing to change themselves
It all begins within ourselves
It starts by looking in the mirror
Searching deep within: not superficially
It's not the outward person that must change
But the inner man: the spiritual soul
Too many are blind to their own errors
Cannot see their own faults yet see others
See their problems and tell them constantly
Thinking they are doing the right thing
Being good Christians: good people
Jesus told parables and asked those he taught
To basically condemn themselves...
To pass judgement upon another sinner
These: Inadvertently passed judgement
Upon themselves: finally had their eyes
Opened up to themselves and saw their errors
We need to open our eyes to our own folly
