Times are tough all over the earth
Things are going wrong: terrible wars
Fires, floods, famines and earthquakes
People dying everywhere by the scores
Where can we look for our salvation?
To whom can we lift up our eyes?
Who will hear the cries of the starving?
Give them what they need: deserve...
Oh Lord I am crying for the lost ones
I am sighing for this poor dying earth
All over there is injustice: hatred
People are fighting: anger erupts
Jealousy flares: ah it hurts: it hurts
Death and destruction: murders
Bombings and shootings: we're scared
Fear drives many to attack others
Ah dear Lord please hear our prayers
Please help us stay strong in our Lord
Please give us of your courage my saviour
For without you there can be no peace...
