Do you hear His voice calling?
Do you understand man's plight?
Do you know how much it matters?
That we hear Him in darkest night?
The voice of wisdom is calling to us...
The voice of our dearest Lord is to be heard
Do you hear Him in the quiet stillness?
Or is there too much noise within your head?
We, of ourselves cannot change or control
Our hearts...our thoughts...
Our impulses...our affections...
We cannot make ourselves pure...
Fit for God's service...
But we can choose to serve God
We can give Him our will...
Then He will work in us to will and do
According to His good pleasure...
