What is infatuated love?
It is that state of mind...
That romantic attraction
To another person...
That results in
Obsessive thoughts and fantasies
A desire to form or maintain
A relationship with the object of love
And to have those feelings
Reciprocated...
A typical feeling we all have
At some time in our lives
That crazy feeling that takes us
To dizzying heights...
And can leave us sighing
Gasping for breath...
Heart pounding within our breast
Face flushed from yearning
That burning desire: uncontrollable
Unrequited love: painful
Yet so real; unfathomable
Unexplainable to our heads
But felt in our hearts
I felt this as teenager...
And many years later on as well
We are not immune...
For we all seek to find this love
This belonging...
Human desire is faulty
It can be so one sided
We want so badly that we obsess
But if you love something
You have to let it go
If it comes back it is yours...
For love must be returned
To be counted as true love...
