Remember that your every word will
Be recorded in the book of life
So think about it dear people
Don't be thought silly: please consider this
Your words can hurt and wound
Every word we utter can be the cause
Of another's terrible pain and strife
These words will be remembered
Written down to be recalled
Then, at heaven's gate you'll be reminded
At the very end of your life
How your nasty words caused wounds
How your evil thoughts caused hurt
Just because you felt hurt and angry
Over some imagined slight and
Couldn't rise above the anger
Thought to hurt right back instead
But being nice to your tormentors
Repaying bad with good instead
It's just like heaping hot coals upon
Someone's unsuspecting head!
