Half a loaf

I remember when the local bakery in Moorook
Baked Hi-top loaves: fresh crusty white bread
I remember my cousin George and his appetite
He used to cut off a large piece of bread
Then leave that behind and take the half loaf
What an appetite he had: I remember it still!
