Twenty nine years ago today
I had my precious girl: my daughter
What memories come flying back
Of that night when she was born
Now my girl is a woman grown
Has children of her own
Though it is a blessing for sure
It is difficult to be happy as
Her father Tim is not here
To wish her a wonderful day
But I am sure he would if he could
Yes I'm sure he'd say: "I love you!
Have a wonderful birthday!"
