Wrong is wrong

Too many times we waver

Too many times we fall

Simply because we give in a little

Thinking it won’t make a difference

Thinking it's not too bad a sin

We look around at others

Seeking to find a hint

That they are worse off than we are

It won't matter if I slip...

Just a little bit...just a little

It doesn't seem that bad

I'll only take a little sip

Nobody will see me...

Nobody will ever know...

Wrong is wrong

No matter how you look at it

It doesn't belong anywhere

Close to Right at all

Just think upon this...

If I take a little something

Just to try it out

Nobody will even care

Nobody will point it out...

But

The devil is watching

He sees exactly what you do

He knows exactly how

To get his claws into you

He draws you just a little way

Knowing not to drag too far

For you may balk at something

That is way too strange...

So little bit by little bit

He seeks to draw you in

Thus you don't even realise

When you first commit that small sin

Each time he pulls a little harder

Each time he shows you what you seek

By the time you chance to look around

You are too deep to resist it

Too far gone to even care

What matter something?

A little darker than before

Too late you seek to run away

Too late you seek your escape

For already you are trapped in darkness

There is no way but down...

Satan grins his wicked grin

Knowing you are trapped within

Knowing he has you by your failure

To even notice where it begins...

So stand up for truth and honesty

Stand up for all things right

Allow dear Jesus to protect you

As you go into the fight

He will never fail to back you up

When you strive to do what's right!
