I often sit & wonder how others make ends meet
I only want to surrender & sit at Jesus' feet
What is it that you search for to fill that greatest void?
When your heart feels so empty, lost & incomplete!
I see so many wanderers sighing in their sleep
Searching for that something that will make them feel complete!
What do you grab a hold of when trying to hide from your shame?
Do you succumb to evil's thoughts: take up that awful cigarette?
Or do you seek for other things to fill that emptiness?
So many turn to alcohol to ease their troubled thoughts
Without a care for their eternal soul: grabbing at anything!
Drugs & other nasty things are tossed into their mouths
Oh Lord I feel so sad that so much evil is so easily had!
