We all need good advice sometimes
A different view from someone else
There are so many ways to look at something
Everyone can see the same thing
But from a different angle: what a difference!
Look at a photograph: of someone you love
You will see them through your love but
They will look and see a whole new thing
They will see their own faults magnified!
Like me: as a kid I thought I was ugly
I hated my nose: too big & long
I hated my ears: stuck out too far
I hated my teeth: awful gold filling
But now looking back at that same me
I see a different me: one before I could not see
Now I realise how wrong I was to hate myself
How silly in my fears: but they were so real to me!
