Christ was
our lamb without spot
Our blessed
sacrifice
Was His life
not enough?
Did it not
suffice?
On the
contrary: let me explain!
By giving His
all: His life: for us!
Let me make
it very plain!
He suffered
deeply for our sins!
His life: our
atonement!
His blood:
for our good!
His tears:
for our fears!
We are sold
unto the Lord in heaven!
To Him belong
our days!
For as Jesus
died to save us!
For as Satan
tries to enslave us!
We are
already saved by God’s gift!
God gave His
greatest gift!
God gave for
us his Son!
The solution
to all our sinning!
His gift our
new beginning!
The price is
paid: all is already done!
God accepted
Jesus’ payment for us
God accepted
Jesus’ gift: we must do the same!
So thank ye
the lord for His atonement!
Thank ye Him
who has always been our hope!
