Prayer of thankfulness

Thank you for helping me today
For guiding me
Away from despondency
For leading me into this discussion
You have lifted up my eyes
Unto my dearest Lord
You have helped me see
That though I falter
Though I fall
There us a much higher goal
Along this path that leads to my Lord
This is the gift of God
To bring two people together
That they might lift each other up
In times of trouble!
