The cars drive by; pollute our air
Drivers rush; without a care
Bottles and cans tossed aside
They care not for our countryside
Chocolate wrappers; Take Aways!
Everything is thrown today
Cigarette packets; plastic bags
On fences fly; barbed-wire snagged
Broken bodies; skeletons
Wombats, Roos, Koalas too!
Foxes, birds; poor dead things
But what's that a-sparkling?
No precious jewels there just
Broken glass; from those drivers
They just don't care!
