On solid rock I build this life
I will not give in to all the strife!
The storms will come; no matter what
But with my life built on this Rock
I will withstand every coming shock!
The winds will blow; rains will fall
But still I'll stand; strong and tall!
Jesus' love is my building block
Jesus' words rule at my hearth
On His words I base my life
On His words and strength
I choose to make my stand
No storm can shake my innermost calm
He is the Rock upon which I build
He is the foundation of my faith!
