Amy had to have a chop and bath
She was getting all smelly and hot
Her fur was getting matted: way too long
So I got out the scissors: gave her a trim
She looked so funny: all bedraggled and thin
I said: "Honey look what the cat dragged in!"
After her bath she was all skinny and wet
Looked just like a drowned rat: better yet
Somewhat like an alien: crazy eyes on my pet!
She hates having a bath: hates having a hair cut!
But my poor little girl really needed it!
After her hair cut her coat didn't fit
It was just hanging off her skinny frame
She looked so funny no denying it!
